​Patient Discharge Policy and Procedures
Acupuncture patients discharge non compliance
At Tree of Life Acupuncture clinic we try our best to earn your trust and business, and we do our best to accommodate different reasonable requests. However there is a time when it is not a good fit for both parties. Below are the following discharge policies for patients not complying with our guidelines.
1. If a patient owes us money for either missed appointments or due to non payment for services provided or insurance non payment for our services. In this case the client needs to pay the balance due before services will be resumed.
2. If the patient is mentally unstable and or causes a threat to our patients, medical or administrative staff.
3. Some clients come for acupuncture or other services and if Tree of Life Acupuncture Clinic medical personnel decides that the client needs to be seen by another specialist, and possibly can be harmed by not complying with our recommendations, we reserve the right to terminate the services and refer the patient to the appropriate provider.
4. Patients who consistently are late and or let their phones ring in our office after 3 warnings of non compliance will be asked to leave the office.
We do understand different needs of our diverse New York clients and we ask to respect our time and policies as we respect your unique needs.
