Acupuncture Case Study
A 73 year old woman, who is also a lung cancer survivor came to my acupuncture office for back
pain. Her surgeon advised her to remove 2 vertebrae from her spine and
the procedure did not guarantee results and would take long anesthesia and recovery time.
After inserting a few needles in her scalp
in about 2-3 min time, I asked her to bend forward and she improved by about 30%. At the end of the 1st cession
the patient improved over 80% (it was a good day for both of us)
told her she may want to wait with the surgery ( I also said something else that I do not want to write here) Click to read more
In addition to regular
acupuncture cessions, when needed we also offer modalities and treatments like:
for colds, tightness and trigger points)
Moxa(works well for cold and stagnant conditions)
Trigger Point Therapy
with dry needling (works well for trigger point therapy)
which is very good for difficult painful conditions chronic and acute nature (usually yields good results when regular acupuncture
does not help)
Acupuncture for stress reduction
Acupuncture can treat stress, anxiety, insomnia and even depression.
So here is a tip on how to do acupressure on yourself. Nothing can ruin your day, health or Life like stress. We all know and have been there. Stress can be a
single contributing factor in major emotional, mental and physical problems. Additionally it can seriously
damage your health in not properly handled.
We do not always know when stress comes, but we can deal with it when it arrives.
There is an acupuncture point called P6 on the acupuncture pericardium channel. It is often used for stress, insomnia and
