Tree of Life Acupuncture clinic is one of very few clinics accepting Acupuncture Insurance. (*Deductibles, co-insurance and co-payments may apply)

Most Medical Insurances cover Acupuncture for PAIN only, as a primary complaint!

Acupuncture Insurance (Only OUT of Network, non HMOs)

If your insurance is NOT listed and you are covered for Acupuncture:

we will provide paperwork for you to get reimbursed directly from your medical insurance carrier.

Acupuncture can treat many conditions. We can treat your condition, however will take your insurance if one or more of your PRIMARY SYMPTOMS are pain or pain related. Several conditions can be addressed in a single Acupuncture session.

Below are some of the examples of Painful symptoms covered by Acupuncture Insurance. (Coverage may vary depending on the plan).

Physical Pain: Any type of body pain is acceptable: Migraine, Headaches, Shoulder, Back, Neck Pain, Sciatica etc.

Allergic Pain: Sinus Head Aches.

OB/GYN PAINS: Pregnancy related nausea, PMS, Low Back Pain, Coccyx Pain, Ovarian Pain, Abdominal Pain, Endometriosis, or Fibroid Pain is covered as a primary complaint.

(INFERTILITY IS NOT COVERED by insurance, unless your primary symptom is pain or pain related.

In other words Any symptom with the word "pain" or "ache" is OK.

*** If we are taking your insurance for payments:

you may see any or a combination of other charges besides Acupuncture: (Acupuncture is often billed in increments of 15 min of time spent.)

Office Visit, Heat Therapy, Manual Therapy, Kinetic Activity or Electric Stimulation in addition to acupuncture services, to facilitate your healing.

*** When or if you see on your insurance statement amount owed, in most cases deductibles and on going co-insurance payments you made, cover all those charges.
