Some studies show that:
*** 50% of couples will conceive within
6 months if not practicing birth control, and that 85% will conceive within 12 months.
For the remaining 15%, fertility assistance
from their physician is often required.
Acupuncture Fertility Treatments:
Fertility treatments typically take from 3 months to 9 months.
(Of course that all depends on the couples reproductive and over all health. We have seen conception occur,
from 3-4 weeks to over 12 months worth of treatment time.)
***Most of conception occurs between 3-6 months of
well attended treatments.
***Generally Acupuncture infertility treatments need to
be done 1-2 a week depending on patients condition, stress levels, emotional or physical pain and IVF or IUI dates.
General Acupuncture treatment recommendations are:
If a woman is under 35 Acupuncture can be administered once a
week.
If a woman is over 35 best results can be achieved administering
Acupuncture 2 times a week for up to the first 3 months of treatments.
***If you are planning to get an IVF or IUI it is best to give yourself 3
months of Acupuncture sessions to optimally prepare your body for the strenuous procedure by balancing once reproductive system.
However any combination of treatments is better than none. Acupuncture
works cumulatively.
